Exclusive interview with Lin Jibao, Chairman of Xuyuan Textile: “From ‘Weaving’ to ‘Smart Manufacturing’—Boosting Quality and Efficiency in the Industry”

“In the first quarter, the company expects to achieve an output value of approximately 170 million yuan,” said Lin Jibao, Chairman of Fujian (Youxi) Xuyuan Textile Co., Ltd., as he inspected the 5G-enabled smart IoT-based spinning production workshop located in Chengnan Park, Youxi Economic Development Zone, on the 27th. The workshop was bustling with the hum of machinery. Currently, the company is exploring new avenues for integrating digital technologies into the textile industry and creating smart workshops under the “Digital Fujian” initiative. Once the high-quality blended yarn project is fully operational, the company’s production capacity will reach 400,000 spindles, with an annual output value of 1.8 billion yuan and tax contributions exceeding 60 million yuan.

Zhou Zuyi Conducts Research in Sanming—Visiting Xuyuan Textile

The gentle spring breeze and fine rain have swept into central Fujian, yet the region still boasts abundant green mountains and clear waters. From March 28 to 29, Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited Youxi County, Sanyuan District, Mingxi County, and Yong'an City in Sanming City one after another. He went deep into rural areas and frontline enterprises, engaging face-to-face with grassroots cadres and residents to understand their needs, listen to their suggestions, promote reform, and boost development. Zhou Zuyi emphasized that we must thoroughly study and implement the important speeches delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour of Fujian, earnestly carry out the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Two Sessions of the National People's Congress, and, guided by the crucial requirements of “four greater efforts,” roll up our sleeves to get things done, come up with practical solutions, and pursue tangible results. We must remain confident, explore innovation, and forge ahead bravely, continuing to make breakthroughs and take the lead in comprehensively deepening reform.

Introduction to the 170,000-spindle High-Intelligence, High-Quality Blended Yarn Project of Fujian Xuyuan Textile Co., Ltd.

Fujian Xuyuan Textile Co., Ltd. was founded and registered in April 2018. It is a large-scale, intelligent textile manufacturing enterprise integrating the production of high-intelligence, high-performance, and multi-functional fiber blends; as well as the sales of yarn, fabrics, and textile raw materials. The company’s total investment exceeds 1.4 billion yuan. The first-phase project covers a total land area of 118,933 square meters (approximately 178.4 mu), and its construction includes factory buildings, machinery repair workshops, dormitory buildings, and an integrated office building. The construction period spans from December 2018 to November 2020.
